As it says in my bio, I have been using Dreamweaver since I had the chance to play with a pre-release version of Macromedia Dreamweaver 1.0 many years ago. So I am not about to change now. Now, before everyone gets all jumpy at that last statement, I said ‘dying as we know it’ … not just dying. With the rapid changes in web technology it is no longer a viable path for tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver to do everything for you. We are seeing this with less and less dynamic features being added to or enhanced in products such as Dreamweaver. But, Dreamweaver isn’t alone, Microsoft’s Expression Web 3 is in much of the same sort of thinking. more…
